D.El.Ed (Diploma In Elementary Education)

Minimum Qualification Required

  • 10+2 or Intermediate in any discipline/subject
  • Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 or Intermediate
  • Age 17 Years or above

Documents Required

  • Certificates and marks sheet of 10th(Matric) & +2(Intermediate)
  • College Leaving Certificate(CLC)
  • Caste Certificate(In case SC/ST/OBC) from competent authority
  • 5 colored passport sized photographs

B.Ed (Bachelor Of Education)

Minimum Qualification Required

  • Graduate or equivalent degree in any discipline/subject
  • Minimum 50% marks in graduation
  • Age 17 Years or above

Documents Required

  • Certificates and marks sheet of 10th(Matric) & graduation(Part I, II and III) or equivalent)
  • College Leaving Certificate(CLC)
  • Caste Certificate(In case SC/ST/OBC) from competent authority
  • 5 colored passport sized photographs

Note: Student appearing/appeared in final year(Part III) examination can also apply for admission for B.Ed. Such students will have to submit their degree/marks sheet within 1 month of admission in the college.

Important: As per NCTE Rules, any student cannot take admission in any other course while pursuing B.Ed. course. He/She is strictly prohibited to sit for/appear in any examination of any university or board after taking admission in B.Ed. Program. The admission will be cancelled with immediate effect if any candidate found in violation of norms. An employed candidate will have to submit releasing/leave order from head of the concerned organization at the time of admission.

Admission of any candidate will be provisional and may get cancelled if any discrete is found or the candidate shall fail to comply with the rules, regulations and other conditions laid down by college. 80% attendance is required. Candidates who fail to fulfill the required percentage will be debarred from appearing in the final B.Ed. examination.

General Guidelines

As per NCTE(Recognization Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2014 and State Govt. rules.

  1. A student admitted to Sanjay Sinha B.Ed. College must maintain an ethos of commitment to professional program in which he/she is enrolled. He/She is expected to aim at the highest in every sphere and to conduct himself/ herself in a responsible and dignified manner wherever he/she may be.
    1.  According to the Patliputra University, Patna regulations the trainees must attend 80% of all theory classes. Hence, Sanjay Sinha B.Ed college expects them to attend all classes. The trainees must attend all demonstrations and criticism classes during the course and scheduled practice teaching classes during October-November practice teaching period. The trainee is expected to teach in any school assigned by the college authority.
    2. A trainee must also attend all college functions and activities such as cultural functions, seminars, symposium, debates, quizzes, essay competitions, sports, picnic, community services, exposure programs, retreat etc.
    3. Prior permission is required from the principal for any absence either from theory or practical classes or community life activities.
    4. It goes without saying that no commitment should be undertaken during the regular timings of college classes and activities.
    5. The students’ name is liable to dropped from the rolls, if he/she is absent continuously for more than 10 days without informing authorities. A re-admission fee will be charged, if re-admission is granted at all.
    6. All are expected to attend last working day and first opening day after the vacation and short breaks. Those absent without prior leave will be fined.
  2. The college has a well maintained computerized library of over 6,000 books, Journals, Encyclopedias and Periodicals. Every student is expected to make the best use of it, making sure, however, to observe the library rules fully.
  3. There will be 4 semester examinations and 6 content tests. Trainees mus sit for all of them. The average of all will be taken for the internal assessment.
